Born From a Belief Thata Meal Can Mean More
I grew up around a dining table where meals stretched long past the food, where conversation was as nourishing as anything on the plate. Those evenings shaped how I think about food; not simply as fuel, but as one of the most meaningful ways to bring people genuinely together.
For more than fifteen years, I carried that belief into hosting, designing and curating dining experiences for friends and family, always with an eye towards the unexpected like a dish someone hadn't tried before or a flavor pairing that sparks curiosity. The quiet pleasure of watching someone take their first bite and light up... that moment never gets old.
Revel + Root is where that passion found its form. A curated dining experience designed entirely around the gathering; from the ingredients we choose to the stories woven between courses to the small details guests remember long after the evening ends. Experiences are hosted in your home or chosen venue, with all preparation, service and clean-up handled on-site.
A Note From the Founder
Hosting has never just been about the food.
It’s about the moment when conversation settles in, when someone tastes something unexpected or when the table grows quieter for a moment because everyone is simply enjoying what’s in front of them. Those moments have always been the most meaningful part of gathering.
This photo was taken at the end of one of those evenings. Friends and family, long after the plates were cleared, still gathered, still at ease and no one in a rush to leave. That feeling is what I set out to create and it's what Revel + Root is built around.
For more than fifteen years, I’ve curated dinners like this one; exploring flavor, introducing the unfamiliar and designing evenings where the table becomes a place of connection. Revel + Root grew naturally from that rhythm.
